NPTP Airbnb & Vacation Rental Owners

Thank you for joining the National Park Travel Planning (NPTP) Community. We appreciate that you have joined our group and are interested in helping your and your business succeed.

We are committed to helping our members and readers explore the National Parks and surrounding areas. If you have an amazing National Park vacation rental VRBO or Airbnb and would like to be placed in front of engaged readers and members, many of whom are ready to purchase, I’d love to talk to you.

In exchange for targeted, personalized access to our community, we that all business promotion their services in the NPTP FB Group to have a relationship with us. 

We consider it a win-win for everyone involved!

How to Partner with NPO/NPTP

We have a number of promotional opponttuitnes for vacation rental owners with our Facebook group and website.

Promotional Comments

Promotional comments are comments are comments made in the NPTP Facebook group where vacation rental owners are allowed to share a link to their listing with our group members. We require that all vacation rental owners use our affiliate links when promoting in our group. 

Vacation rental owners are only allowed to share links when directly relevant to the posters original post.

What is an affiliate relationship?

Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy where individuals or businesses (such as NPTP/NPO) earn commissions when products are booked or purchased through our links. We get paid when bookings are completed.

If your rental is listed on one of the following hotel/vacation rental booking platform, I have an existing affiliate relationship with that platform and getting your listing set up is easy. Fill out the affiliate link form and I will email you a personalized link you can use in the NPTP Facebook Group. 

  • VRBO
  • Hotels.com
  • Expedia
  • Booking.com

If you are listed on multiple platforms pick your preferred booking platform. There is no additional costs to you if we go through these platforms.

For Airbnb owners, Airbnb shut their affiliate program down and there are no plans to restart their program. If you are not listed on one of the platforms above and would like to promote your Airbnb listing, we charge $50 a year. Click here to promote your Airbnb listing.

Important Information

We will review all listing for inclusion in this program.

  • Your rental must be within a reasonable distance for a National Park or NPS unit. 
  • You must have decent listing photos. 

I will regularly review all listing in this program and reserve the right to remove or discuss quality issues. 

Promotional Comment Rules

  • We do not allow our affiliate partners to do promotional wall post within the NPTP Group.
  • Please limit your promotion to posts directly related to travel planning to the park(s) near your vacation rental.
    • Provide more information than promoting your rental. 
    • At least 1-2 sentences. 
  • You may NOT promote your vacation rental on general “where should I go posts?”
  • You may NOT message group members to promote your listing. 
  • You may only use the National Park Obsessed link provided. Failure to use the provided link will result in removable from the NPTP Facebook Group without warning. 

We reserve the right to change these rules at any time.

Promotional Wall Posts

Each Saturday, we offer a limited number of wall posts to business to directly promote your rental within the NPTP travel group. Slots are limited and start at $60 per post.

Our Travel Hub is available for all NPO readers and NPTP Group Members to find travel deals and discounts to help them get the most bang for their buck when traveling in the National Parks. 

Each park, region, and state has its own page to make it easy for readers to find deals.

Have multiple Vacation Rentals? Save 25% when listing more than one in our travel deal center.

If your listing is with a reasonable driving distance of two National Parks and you’d like your listing to appear on two park pages, please email Jennifer@NationalParkObsessed.com. A listing under a second park will be $100.

Airbnb listing have an additional charge due to Airbnb's lack of an affiliate program. If Airbnb restarts their affiliate program, we will swap your links over to affiliate links and refund the prorated difference between the Airbnb and VRBO travel deal hub listing fees.
