Types of Guest Posting

Guest Posts are written by individuals or other content creators who are looking to share their National Park experiences with others. Articles are paid unless the content creators wants backlinks to their website plus a link to their social media accounts. 

Content Creators are primary creating content for a social media network or their blog. We reserve the right to review the blog and determine if its a blog with a store or a store with a blog. If its a store with a blog, the guest post will fall under our sponsored guest posts fees. 

Sponsored Guest Posts are written by business or DMOs to share their products or build backlinks to their website. Our sponsored posts start at $300. 

Guest Post Guidelines

Guest Post Articles Basics:

  • be minimum of 1500 words. 
  • you are welcome to include 3 link to a post on your own website.
  • make sure to include a bio for the bottom of the post with all your social media accounts and your travel blog linked so we can promote your article and you.
  • send a headshot to go with your article and that should also be 800x minimum.
  • include horizonal photographs. We prefer photographs you have taken but can provide our own images or source stock images as required

Articles Guidelines:

  • no AI-written articles.
  • must be original content. They must not have been posted previously anywhere on the internet.
  • ideally including personal experience as well as current research from reliable sources.
  • be written using best-practice SEO. We will help with keyword research and will add internal links as appropriate.
  • be written in American English.
  • be written in a friendly and informative tone
  • use short sentences and short paragraphs
  • include a introduction, body sections and a conclusion, including SEO friendly headings throughout
  • be proofread and generally free of errors
  • images submitted may be used in the creation of social media posts to promote your article

We reserve the right to edit posts, ensuring consistency across the site. We may also include relevant affiliate links.

Sponsored Guest Post Packages

All sponsored posts should compline with our guest post guidelines above. Once a guest post as been submitted and paid for it is the property of National Park Obsessed even if  you chose not to renew your links. 

All posts will be marked as sponsored. We reserve the right to edit posts, ensuring consistency across the site. We may also include internal links as appropriate. 

Please note that if your links are found to be dead twice over a 7 day period they will be permanently removed and no refund will be offered. Additionally, if your link is going to be  porn, gambling, CDB, anything else that is not family friendly or promotes illegal activities permanently removed and no refund will be offered.

All sponsored guests posts must be related to the National Park travel, and the outdoors. If you have any doubts about your topic please email Jennifer@NationalParkObsessed.com before purchasing your sponsored post. 

We do NOT accept sponsored posts about gambling, cannabis, or other drugs, or topics outside of National Park related topics.
