Podcasts are an amazing alternative to music. I love listing to podcasts when I am in my office, driving or in the gym. Some of my favorite podcasts are national park themed. These National Park Podcasts are an amazing way to keep up with the latest national park news and amazing stories from the parks. Here are the five best National Park Podcasts to listen to in 2020.

These are some of my go-to podcast for day to day use while I save others for my road trip adventures. All of these content creators are amazing people many of whom are my friends. America's National Parks Podcast

America’s National Park Podcast is one of my favorite road trip podcasts. This podcast is by my good friends Jason Epperson and Abigail Trabue. Each week they delve into the historical stories in our parks.

These stories tell the history of the parks and some of the most amazing stories. Some of my favorite episodes include the singers of Big Bend and the reintroduction of the Californian Condors.

I love learning about the parks through these amazingly researched and fact-based stories. Most episodes are between 10 and 30 minutes.

National Parks Traveler Podcast

National Parks Traveler Podcast

National Parks Traveler Podcast is your source to the latest and greatest in National Park news. Their podcast focus on an in-depth look at the current happenings in the National Parks with listeners a blend of news, feature content, debate, and discussion.

Most episodes are between 45 and 60 minutes long and new episodes are released on Sundays.

Everybody’s National Parks Podcast

Everybody’s National Parks Podcast is a family-friendly national park podcast. The podcast is hosted by Danielle and Bryan. They provide trip reports on their explorations of the parks while providing a ton of information and tips for visiting the National Parks.

They also do interviews of experts, park rangers, documentary makers and many more National Park experts.

Most episodes are between 45 and 60 minutes long and new episodes are released every two weeks on Tuesdays.

Parklandia Podcast

Parklandia is hosted by the married team of Matt and Brad. They have a light-hearted podcast about full-time RV life combined with exploring the National Parks.

Most episodes are about an hour or so long and new episodes are released every week on Wednesday (with an occasion bonus episode).

Gaze at the National Parks Podcast

Gaze at the National Parks Podcast is all about hiking the park (and occasionally park related topics such as breweries near the parks or history of the parks). Hosted by hikers Dustin Ballard and Michael Ryan, Gaze at the National Parks takes listeners on trails such as Shenandoah’s Little Devils Stairs or Acadia’s Bee hive.

Most episodes are about an hour or so long and new episodes are usually released weekly on Mondays (usually).
