My 7 yo walked up the stairs into the airstream and declared it his “favorite place of my life”. It is amazing how well-appointed and comfortable the space is. The stovetop and grill make it easy to cook great meals, the temp was regulated well – which is super hard to do in the desert, it was very clean, and the view of the sunsets across the salt flats just gorgeous. Tecopa is very small, but there is an excellent coffee/bakery/pizza/brewery about a mile from the property, and it is about an hour from furnace creek, so a great spot to launch from for exploring Death Valley and Ash Meadows.
